SASTRA University Admission In B.Tech

SASTRA University offers B.Tech/ M.Tech 5- year integrated programme, in which talented boys and girls can easily get admission in B.Tech offered by SASTRA university. Criteria to get admission in university is as simple as others like 70% of seats are reserved for +2 students and 30% are for qualified JEE Main 2013 Score, if university found any seat empty either in +2 or JEE Mains then it will be filled by any of them. Students are required to enter both +2 marks as well as scores secured in JEE(Main)-2013, if applicable in the application form. Counselling is compulsory to attend for both +2 candidate as well as JEE(Main) candidate because two separate list will be released on 15th June 2013.

The ranks list for +2 stream will be based on +2 normalised aggregate marks and for the JEE (Main) will be based on the aggregate total marks (not ranks)

Students admitted under +2 stream can opt to change courses if available under JEE stream when the counselling for JEE stream follows the first counselling.  There is no need to submit two application forms. Since the results for the JEE (Main) and +2 marks for all boards will be announced well before June 15, 2013, students are advised to enter their +2 marks and JEE scores before submitting their completed application forms. This shall ensure that each applicant is considered for both the streams of admission.
