Railway Recruitment Board has issued notification against recruitment of 6449 Engineer post Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format before 9 th April and the exam will be held on 9th September, 2012. Junior Engineer : 4784 posts of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and S&T Departments
Senior P-Way Supervisor : 160 posts
Chief Depot Material Superintendent : 37 posts
Depot Material Superintendent : 65 post
Pay Scale & Educational Qualification :
Sr. Section Engineers : Rs. 9300-34800: Grade Pay-4600.
Degree in Engineering from specific engineering streams against the particular posts as given in notification.
Junior Engineer : Rs. 9300-34800: Grade Pay-4200.
Diploma in Engineering from specific engineering streams against the particular posts as given in notification.
Senior P-Way Supervisor : Rs. 9300-34800: Grade Pay-4200.
Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Civil Engineering (Transportation). or B.Sc. with Physics and Mathematics or B.Sc. (Honours) in Physics with Mathematics as secondary/ subsidiary subject or B.Sc (Honours) in Maths with Physics as secondary/ subsidiary subject.
Chief Depot Material Superintendent : Rs. 9300-34800: Grade Pay-4600.
Degree in Engineering in any discipline.
Depot Material Superintendent : Rs. 9300-34800: Grade Pay-4200.
Diploma in Engineering in any discipline.
Age Limit : For Sr. Section Engineers age should be 20 to 35 yrs, age between 18 to 33 yrs for Junior Engineer, Senior P-Way Supervisor & Depot Material Superintendent . And between 18 to 35 yrs for Depot Material Superintendent.

Selection Process: Selection in RRB would consist of written test. In written test there are 150 questions with 2hrs timing , exam syllabus will related from General Awareness, General Intelligence, Arithmetic and reasoning with technical ability.
